Details of Training Modules
Resilient Mindfulness training is build on a flexible modular format, so bespoke programmes can be created with any number of modules, from 1 to 8.
The first 3 modules focus on 3 of the biggest contributors to sickness absence in many organisations today: stress, anxiety and depression. Subsequent modules build on the skills from modules 1-3, so participants can become more engaged, resourceful and flexible under pressure. In this way, Resilient Mindfulness develops productivity and performance as well as health and well-being.
The Modules are as follows:
Module 1 ("QuickStart") focuses on reducing stress and boosting focus. It includes "Targeted Mindfulness," a way of addressing specific issues and generating significant stress reduction in just 4 minutes. It also includes the "Reconnect," which takes 30 seconds and helps to build stress reduction into the busiest of days, while also helping cultivate a clear focus on what matters most. (This "QuickStart" module is also available separately, as an excellent way for organisations and individuals to try out mindfulness and start to experience significant benefits. For details, see here).
I think the Reconnect is the most powerful tool I have ever learned. From using it on a high ropes course to redesigning a workshop on the fly today, to just everyday life. Wow, what a difference it makes. Thank you for teaching it to me!

Module 2 focuses on cultivating a clearer and more resilient focus, letting go of the trains of thought that generate anxiety and stress. It helps to build "intentionality" - the ability to stay focused at will, and to be less bothered by distractions. Participants learn the skills they need to build their "mental muscles" of focus and resilience.
Module 3 helps develop positive emotion, which helps prevent the sorts of thoughts and emotions that lead towards depression. It helps overcome the brain's negativity bias - so participants become happier and more positively engaged, and develop more positive and effective relationships with colleagues.
Module 4 takes the clear focus and positive emotion built up in previous modules, and makes it available in increasingly challenging situations. There's a particular focus here on handling challenge and change, and developing emotional intelligence.
Modules 5 and 6 are about the key mindfulness skill of creating more "mental space" around experience and events. This further reduces stress reactions, helping to avoid unwise, knee-jerk reactions on the one hand, or procrastination on the other. The result is greater presence of mind and clarity of purpose, so participants can respond, in the moment, in ways that are more sustainable, more effective and more fully aligned with organisational goals, purpose and vision.
In Module 7, participants learn to apply mindfulness directly to their work. This includes work such as meetings, emailing, report writing, presentations and any other tasks specific to the participant group. There's a particular emphasis on effective communication, including either teamwork or leadership according to the audience.
Module 8 focuses on further establishing and embedding mindfulness, to help ensure the benefits continue into the months and years beyond the training.
The 8 modules fully cover Jon Kabat Zinn's 8-week MBSR syllabus. The difference is that Resilient Mindfulness is specifically focused on the needs of busy leaders, managers and professionals, both in terms of the principles and practices provided.
With Mindfulness, I’m calmer and more able to focus on the things that matter, even in a busy and demanding workplace. I am also better at dropping other issues without worrying about them. Mindfulness has helped create space in a busy life, and encouraged me to be the best I can be.

Participant Requirements
In order to get full benefit from the course, participants need to set aside some time for mindfulness practice. This starts at 2 minutes per day in module 1, and builds to 22 minutes per day by the end of the course. This investment of time typically pays off within the day, in terms of increased focus and effectiveness, as well as providing improved professional and personal relationships, health, wellbeing and so on (and even 22 minutes is just 1.5% of the day!)
Thank you very much for the inspiring course. I have tried several different meditation courses but only this one slips easily into my daily life"

Also please note that this training is not intended for those suffering from clinical mental health conditions. It is a professional leadership training, designed to boost wellbeing and performance. It does have, however, have the effect of cultivating mental fitness and positive mental health, which helps avoid such clinical conditions arising.
Training Format
Each module consists of 2 hours of live workshop training, followed by lightweight eLearning to help embed the learning. The course trainer is available by email throughout the programme - and beyond. This gives participants all the support they need in putting Resilient Mindfulness into practice in their busy and demanding roles.
Very comprehensive materials and support are provided, so participants can miss one or two sessions and still make excellent use of the programme.
Workshops can be delivered face-to-face, or live on-line. The live on-line format is particularly suited to working 1-1 with executives, and with participants spread around the world.

I've tried mindfulness before but it never clicked for me. But with your guidance and your amazing ability to connect us to our feelings and senses it just transformed the whole experience.
